OUR MISSION

DI LOGCAP performs base life support for the U.S. Army Garrison – Kwajalein Atoll in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

LOCATION

Located within the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Kwajalein Atoll is 2,000 miles southwest of Hawaii and 2,000 miles North of Australia. Kwajalein island is the largest in the atoll at 2.5 miles long and 800 yards wide. DI LOGCAP also provides services on nearby Roi-Namur, a small island to the North, accessible by ferry.

SERVICES

DI support on Kwajalein includes but is not limited to: public works and engineering services, fire and emergency services, logistics, aviation and airfield operations, education services, administrative support, public affairs, religious services, medical services, food services, marine operations, port operations, and community activities.

DI LOGCAP AT WORK

DI LOGCAP personnel perform mission critical services across all functional areas. The positions listed below highlight a variety of careers on Kwajalein and Roi-Namur.

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic:
Performs repairs and maintains a variety of heavy equipment including, but not limited to, heavy trucks, trailers, cranes, forklifts, container handlers, back-hoes, trenchers, loaders, graders, scrapers, compactors, dozers, skid steers, and associated equipment.

MARINE OPERATIONS

Marine Mechanic:
The Marine Mechanic troubleshoots and repairs marine engines, waterjets, and associated systems onboard assigned vessels.

MWR

Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) Technician:

Coordinates activities required to operate MWR facilities to include clubs, entertainment, golf courses, fitness centers, a bowling center, hobby shops, pools, and small boat marinas.

LOGISTICS

Logistics Supervisor:

Plans, directs, controls, coordinates and evaluates logistics management functions. Oversees the logistics requirements necessary to support operations of assigned program.

FIRE FIGHTING/PREVENTION

Fire Fighter:

Responsible for mitigating hazards during fires, medical emergencies, hazmat incidents, personnel rescues, natural disasters, aircraft incidents, and other emergency events.

CHILD YOUTH SERVICES (CYS)

Child and Youth Program Assistant:

Support the U.S Army CYS program in administrating accredited, developmentally appropriate early childhood, youth services, and youth programs. Our CYS assistants engage youth in education, recreation, and other enrichment activities.
