Plans, controls and assigns tasks to cross functional operations teams required for implementing common work processes and procedures on LOGCAP IV task orders and projects in multiple international site locations. Maintains oversight on all processes to ensure completion of task orders/projects according to contract deadlines. Resolves diverse problems of moderate scope, escalating to senior management as required
Principal Accountabilities
Identifies customer requirements and oversees the development of appropriate work processes to meet customer needs
Monitors assigned mission operations and integrates all elements of the organization to ensure schedules are maintained within cost and performance standards
Ensures accuracy and completion of team assignments and tasks
Reviews and approves all assigned personnel’s reports verifying content and compliance
Serves as point of contact for multiple sites on program/contract operation activities
Monitors the mobilization and transition of personnel and equipment in fulfillment of contract requirements. Oversees teams of U.S. and international personnel performing work as assigned
Ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction by quality on-time performance and best return for their investment.
Provides supervision, guidance and control for the efficient utilization of personnel assignments and their performance, morale and for the overall welfare of assigned personnel
Acts as a point-of-contact for operations in the absence of the Operations Manager for matters relating to the contract as representative between customer and DynCorp management team
Ensures compliance with all US and local government reporting requirements.
Compiles, verifies and submits all records and documents to proper authorities
Compiles and submits operational status reports to senior management on program issues.
Works with multi-functional team to identify operational deficiencies and recommend various approaches for resolution of outstanding issues and task order requirements
Coordinates subcontractor payments of invoices, verifies charges and authorizes release of payments
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and other practices set forth by senior management
Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of the functions and operations of major U.S. Military Commands
Complete understanding of operations of assigned contract
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Excellent follow through and time management skills
Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline. Two (2) years experience in operational positions or related fields may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college
Six (6) to eight (8) years experience in DOD and/or civilian operations supervision required
Must be able to meet the medical deployment requirements IAW CENTCOM MOD 15
Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
Travel
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Qualifications
Must have ability to obtain and maintain US security clearance at proper level
