The Engineering Operations Manager Senior is responsible for overseeing activities and personnel to provide engineering operational support for contract performance, business development, and mobilization/transition planning and execution.
Responsible for technical facilities management studies, estimates, bill of materials, and power optimizations as well as required energy efficiency studies in support of facilities maintenance and infrastructure
Advise senior management on code compliant design policy for effective decision-making regarding maintenance strategies, issues, and optimal approaches to achieve customer satisfaction and contract compliance
Conduct field studies and assessments to identify and correct power distribution systems problems as required
Monitor functional area performance and ensure compliance with applicable codes, operations policies, procedures, standards, and regulations
Advise senior leadership of significant issues and advise trades staff for immediate resolution
Collaborate with various functional areas to provide design and planning guidance for supporting project planning requirements as required
Review and develop scope of work documents, compile data and write technical reports for existing/potential engineering studies and projects
Oversee design, maintenance, repair, and operation of systems and supporting infrastructure if assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
Advanced knowledge of major US military functions regarding facilities management/infrastructure
Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software

Experience & Education
Minimum ten (10) years of experience in military or civilian operations management environment with at least three (3) years in a managerial role
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline such as electrical, civil, structural, etc.
Professional Engineering (PE) license required in related field.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
OCONUS: Some positions will be assigned to overseas locations where living and working conditions at assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable, with long hours, exposure to weather, dust, and hazardous/harsh conditions
